Me, took redundancy from BT (British Telecom) 5 years ago after 15 years there, having done various jobs - some better than others! - mostly in computing.
Ian, has done all sorts in his time, and is now getting his head round French electrics, plumbing and the 101 things you can do with a chainsaw! They are very handy tools he assures me!
We have several cats, two fat ones we brought from England, and a little french one(Mimi) we acquired with the farm, Last summer two wild kittens (Sam and Minou)arrived in the apple tree one night, it was impossible not to feed them, so they are now comfortably esconced as well!

Interests - renovating old farm buildings! rural life in France, gardening (including a degree in bramble clearance now!) local history, wildlife watching, relaxing with wine, friends and good cheese in any order!
We have been up and running for three years now and are very pleased to discover how enjoyable an occupation running holiday accomodation is! It is hard work at times, but there are huge rewards, not least of which are the lovely people we meet who visit us! We have had loads of help and advice from people with far more experience than us - which we really do greatly appreciate as there are always new things to learn and improve upon.
