This two bedroom villa sleeps 4 -6, is completely self-contained and has been recently redecorated with warmth and character. It faces south east to its own terrace and garden, where there is ample room to spread out, sunbathe and snooze, enjoying the views of the Pyrenees in the distance. The back of the villa faces the farm courtyard, which is a large lawned and gravelled space with acacia trees, where you can park your car in the shade.
The large separate sitting room – opening out through shuttered French doors to the terrace and rustic garden beyond – invites curling up with a good book of an evening, or perhaps relaxing with a glass of chilled Muscat – savouring the warm evening air filled with a marvellous chorus of cicada, crickets and frogs from the trees and meadows around. By way of home comforts, UK TV and Radio, and a selection of CD’s, videos and books are at your disposal.
The sitting room can be very easily used as an extra bedroom - especially in the warmer months when evenings are mostly spent outside! It has a comfortable double sofa bed, and offers plenty of room and privacy.
The double bedroom has a glorious south-facing view over our land and trees to the Pyrenees, and is light and sunny, with its antique bedstead, and soft blue and white furnishings.
The twin bedroom has generous single beds with plenty of space for either children or adults – with its soft yellow and persimmon bedspreads it feels cheerful, warm and welcoming.
The bathroom is light and spacious, with shower, basin and washing machine, and a separate WC.
The kitchen of course contains everything you could need for relaxed cooking away from home, with dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, gas hob and electric oven. An old oak dining table and chairs provides a sunny spot for leisurely breakfasts, and is a cosy setting for evening meals around the lovely open fireplace during the cooler months.
Outside, there is ample parking in the shade at the back of the house. In addition to the garden table, chairs, sun-loungers and BBQ, a paddling pool can also be provided on request for the young and young at heart! You are welcome to help yourself to fresh figs, peaches and apples from our trees at harvest time.
